RULES FOR SUBMITTING ABSTRACTS TO THE SLEEP FORUM 2022

Abstracts with the presentation of scientific research on all aspects of sleep medicine and sleep biology are accepted for the Sleep Forum 2022. Abstracts can report on basic and clinical scientific research in sleep; reports on interesting and unique clinical cases describing one clinical case.

The applicant is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors agree to be included in the team of authors of the thesis and have an idea of its content.

It is not allowed to publish more than 2 abstracts with the same first author.

Abstract design rules:

  1. The volume of abstracts is 3000 characters, including spaces (70% of the A4 page).
  2. It is not allowed to place tables, graphs, figures, references to literature sources in the text.
  3. Abbreviations (no more than three) with their explanation can be used in the text of theses.
  4. The text of the abstracts should contain in a clear and concise form:
  • The essence of the method used;
  • Description of the results obtained with the degree of detail necessary to substantiate the conclusions;
  • Formulated conclusions.
  • It is unacceptable to use formulations such as “… the report will contain …” or “…the results will be discussed …”.

Abstracts should include:

  • Name;
  • List of authors;
  • The names of the organizations represented by the authors, indicating the cities;
  • Mobile phone (not for publication);
  • Email address.

Abstracts should contain:

  • Introduction / the purpose of the study;
  • Methods;
  • Results;
  • Conclusion.

All abstracts that do not meet these minimum criteria are rejected without consideration.

Attention! Abstracts will not be subject to editorial revisions.
