He lectures globally and has developed mini-residency programs at Tufts University in the fields of Dental Sleep and TMD/Orofacial Pain.

Currently coordinate the Sleep Unit of the Cardiovascular Center of University of Lisbon, Faculty of Medicine. Clinical Director of European Sleep Center. His interest are Clinical Chronobiology, Sleep Physiology and Sleep Medicine, in the scope of cardio metabolic involvement and autonomic control.

School of Dental MedicineDr. Guerrero graduated from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM) 2-year Orofacial Pain CODA accredited program in 2021 and now practices as a full-time Orofacial Pain specialist and Assistant Professor at TUSDM at the Craniofacial Pain Center since graduation. She also earned her Diplomate status of the American Board of Orofacial Pain in 2021. Dr. Guerrero serves as a co-director of the Case Studies in Orofacial Pain and Headache Series, the Interprofessional Pain and Headache Rounds presented by the TUSDM Craniofacial Pain Center in collaboration with Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She is part of the faculty of the Tufts Continuing Education Mini-Residency Programs (TMD & Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine) which highlights her main interest in promoting the education of Orofacial Pain for general dentists. Dr. Guerrero also serves on the advisory board for the journal General Dentistry, representing the field of Orofacial Pain.
